I've come to the conclusion that Roy needs to stay busy...when presented with an amount of time void of any activity he tends to get a little antsy. He's had an entire week of complete time and he wakes up everyday wondering what he will do. Already this week he has rearranged our room, completely deep cleaned the basement and the car, finished the laundry, cleaned the oven, gone to the gym every morning after long morning bike rides, finished building a retaining wall, and gone grocery shopping. As you can imagine I've enjoyed the whole idea of not coming home and starting a load of laundry or finding the time to run to the grocery store. I'll be sad to see it all go, but for Roy's sake it's a good thing he starts his new job Monday.

Too much time ...or not enough time?

W-O-W!! That's more than I get done in an entire year!! Way to be! Maybe I should start brainwashing... uh... I mean "teaching" the boys how much fun all of that stuff is! Hope Roy's first day goes well!
